Headache Relief Tea
Headaches are often nature’s way of slowing you down.
They most often occur when you’ve been neglecting yourself for way too long.
They can start out as a dull ache, and if you ignore the pain for long enough, headaches can progress into an intense migraine that stops you in your tracks.
The key to preventing a full blown migraine begins with the awareness that you need to slow down and take care of yourself.
The sooner you take steps to nurture yourself, the less likely your headache will become overpowering.
The next time you start to feel the throb of a headache coming on, stop and take note of what your headache is trying to tell you about your life.
Sip and om with a cup of tea.
Here’s an easy recipe for a tea that you can brew with three ingredients that you likely already have on hand in your kitchen.
Easy Recipe for Headache Tea
1 cup water
2 tsp. dried green tea
2 tsp. dried or fresh mint
Bring water to a gentle boil. Pour water over the green tea and mint leaves. Steep covered for 10 minutes to prevent the volitale oils from escaping. Strain the leaves and pour into your favorite cup to enjoy.
